How to get over broadband malfunction

Internet break down or running slow is often. In such situation, it is recommended to contact the internet service provider (ISP). Now if you don’t have any means to contact these service companies, you can check in to their web sites.

However, before calling them, testing two things may confirm your problem. Primarily, check the hardware connection. The most common fault may be misplacement of internal wiring especially telephone extension cables. If they are connected inappropriately, you should connect them in correct way. If there is only one telephone socket in your house, it serves as the master and if there are many, the one with the company logo is the master. In the latter case, you should make sure that the internet connection is connected directly to the master socket. If you don’t bother it, call the technician, he may fix this and charge you the service fee.

The next, check out your microfiltter (splitter) is properly working. If you find it damaged, you can replace it with a spare one. It is preferred to fit a microfilter to the working telephone extensions even when there is one for the master socket.
